How it works
Follow the question. Keep the conclusion.
Start from a Discord server and move into a private DM with the bot. A sequence of questions helps you explore a situation or recurring pattern. Five is a checkpoint, not a forced stopping point.
Name what’s happening
Begin with a reaction, conflict, feeling, or situation that you want to understand better.
Take one layer at a time
Answer in your own words. If a question misses the mark, choose “That Doesn’t Fit” and change direction.
Name your own takeaway
At the checkpoint, keep digging, pause, or name a root in your own words. The bot does not declare it for you.
Choose your path
Basic or Premium AI.
Both modes follow the same human-centered boundaries. Premium changes how the next question is generated, not who owns the answer.

If Premium AI is unavailable or a limit is reached, the reflection can continue in Basic. Premium credits and access rules are still being prepared for public release.
Privacy by design
Personal reflections belong to you.
- Private DMsReflection replies are not posted to the server. The bot is not passively monitoring server conversations.
- Save deliberatelyChoosing Save keeps your starting point and self-named root/takeaway plus basic metadata—not the full Q&A transcript.
- Export on requestDownload a summary or full TXT export while the completed reflection is still available in memory.
- Know the boundaryDiscord retains messages according to its own service rules. Clearing bot messages does not remove messages you sent.

What you should know.
Will 5 Whys tell me my root cause?
No. It asks questions; you decide whether you found a root and how to describe it.
Is this therapy or crisis support?
No. It is a self-reflection tool, not therapy, diagnosis, medical care, or crisis intervention. If you may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Does Basic send my answers to OpenAI?
No. Basic uses the local rule-based engine to generate questions. Premium AI sends relevant reflection content to OpenAI to generate adaptive questions.
What does Save keep?
Your starting point and the root/takeaway you name, plus dates, mode, server ID, and the number of layers. It does not save the full Q&A in the saved-takeaway store.
How do I delete a saved takeaway?
The bot offers individual deletion and a clear-history action. For a broader data request, use the contact route on our Support page.
